Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day,

  • on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods, provided that you ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are delivered together;
  • on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last item, provided that you ordered several goods as part of a single order and these are delivered separately;
  • on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last partial shipment or the last item, provided that the goods are delivered in several partial shipments or pieces.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, SUNRIDE GmbH, Marktplatz 12, 96242 Sonnefeld, Germany, Tel.: +49 151 67552071, Email: hello@sunride.eu, of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement, for example by a letter sent by post or by email. You may use the model withdrawal form for this purpose, although this is not mandatory.

You may also exercise your right of withdrawal using the withdrawal function provided and clearly identified in our online shop at sunride.eu. After submitting your withdrawal via this function, you will immediately receive confirmation of receipt on a durable medium, for example by email, containing the content of your withdrawal declaration as well as the date and time of receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification concerning the exercise of your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.

We will use the same means of payment for this reimbursement as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no event will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Return Conditions

As every horse has an individual build, it is possible that a product may not fit optimally straight away. Following inspection of the returned goods, we offer a voluntary exchange for another size. There is no legal entitlement to such a voluntary exchange. In particular, we may refuse an exchange if the goods have been used beyond what is necessary for a customary fitting or are no longer in a condition suitable for resale. Your statutory rights, in particular your right of withdrawal and your statutory rights in the event of defects, remain unaffected.

To help ensure that returned goods reach us in the best possible condition, we ask you to observe the following guidelines when trying on the products:

  • Keep the goods in a clean and, as far as possible, odour-free environment while trying them on. Washing goods that have already been used does not restore them to their original new condition.
  • When trying on horse rugs, please place a clean cooler rug underneath where possible. This helps to prevent animal hair and dirt from adhering to the inner lining.
  • If you have ordered several items for fitting, please carefully repack them after trying them on. Where the original packaging is still available, you may use it for this purpose.

Under your statutory right of withdrawal, you may inspect the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Any use beyond this, in particular using the goods on a horse for an extended period, may result in a loss of value for which you may be liable.

If goods are returned heavily soiled, with significant amounts of animal hair, strong foreign odours or other signs of use resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for inspection, compensation may be claimed for the resulting loss in value.

If cleaning is necessary to restore the goods to a condition suitable for resale as a result of handling that goes beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, the actual and reasonable cleaning costs may be taken into account as part of the legally permissible compensation for diminished value and may be charged as a cleaning fee. The cleaning fee is limited to the actual and reasonable costs incurred and will be taken into account when determining the loss in value. The customer remains entitled to demonstrate that no loss in value or cleaning costs were incurred, or that the loss in value or cleaning costs were significantly lower.

For goods that have actually been used over an extended period and therefore show clear signs of use, soiling or other deterioration, we reserve the right to refuse a voluntary exchange. Any existing statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected. The statutory provisions shall apply to any loss in value resulting from excessive use.

To help us process your return more quickly, you may include your order number in the parcel. Providing a reason for the return is voluntary and is not required in order to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal.

We cover the cost of regular standard delivery for your order. In the event of withdrawal, you shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods. This arrangement is intended to reduce additional transport routes and avoidable returns while keeping our product prices transparent.

This provision concerning return shipping costs applies to the statutory right of withdrawal. Your statutory rights in the event of defective or incorrectly delivered goods remain unaffected.
