Moisture can be transported away from the wet coat to the outside, while the material itself dries relatively quickly. This makes fleece particularly well-suited for the post-workout phase, when the horse needs to dry off slowly.

When do I need a fleece rug for my horse?
A fleece rug is particularly suitable after training, lunging, or other physical exertion when the horse has sweated. It supports moisture transport and assists the horse during the cooling-down phase.
What is the difference between a fleece rug and a terry cloth rug?
A terry cloth rug like our Equitowel absorbs a particularly large amount of moisture directly from a very wet coat and functions similarly to a large towel. Subsequently, a fleece rug can be used to support further drying and cooling down.
Can I use the fleece rug after washing?
Yes. If the coat is still very wet, the Equitowel terry cloth rug can be used first. Once a large part of the moisture has been absorbed, the fleece rug is suitable for the further drying phase.
What does 280 g/m² mean for a fleece rug?
This specification describes the basis weight of the material. For this fleece rug, 280 g of fleece are used per square meter.
What does anti-pilling fleece mean?
