How tight or loose should a halter fit?
There should be room for two fingers between the noseband and the horse's head so that it is neither too tight nor too loose.
What is a PU halter and what is the difference compared to a standard halter?
Our VeganFlex™ halter is made from a high-tech material with a polyester core and a plastic coating. Unlike leather or nylon, it is water-repellent, extremely tear-resistant, easy to clean, and remains flexible – even in cold or wet conditions.
How do I clean a PU halter properly?
Simply rinse it with water and dry it off with a cloth – that’s it. Stubborn dirt can be removed with a mild soap solution.
Is the material mold-resistant?
Yes, Biothane does not provide a breeding ground for mold, bacteria, or germs.
Does VeganFlex™ get stiff in the cold?
No, it retains its flexibility even in freezing temperatures.
How long does a VeganFlex™ halter last?
With normal use, many years – often significantly longer than conventional halters.
What does "VeganFlex™" mean?
It means that neither the material nor the production process contains any animal components. VeganFlex™ is completely leather-free and animal-friendly.
Is the lead rope included?

- Use only as intended as a leading and restraining device for horses.
