How should the horse bandages be applied?

The bandages must be wrapped smoothly, without wrinkles, and with even tension. They should neither be too loose nor constrict the leg. Uneven pressure can cause pressure sores and damage the tendons.

Can the bandages help with filled horse legs?

Correctly applied, even pressure can support fluid balance in the tissue. However, bandages that are wrapped too tightly can impair lymphatic flow. In the case of recurring, warm, or painful swellings, the cause should be clarified by a veterinarian.

Are the bandages breathable?

Yes, the air-permeable structure allows moisture to escape and reduces unnecessary heat buildup. Nevertheless, the bandages should be removed promptly after training so that the horse's leg can cool down. Leg protection can generally restrict natural heat dissipation.

How are the bandages washed?

The bandages are machine washable. Close the Velcro fasteners before washing and preferably use a laundry bag so that they do not stick to each other or damage other textiles. Additionally, observe the instructions on the care label.
