Fly masks were originally developed not only for protection against flies, but also as protection against UV radiation. Horses are particularly sensitive to sunburn, especially in the area of the eyes and the sensitive skin around the ears. Our fly masks therefore offer not only insect protection, but also UV protection to shield horses' sensitive skin and eyes from harmful sun rays.

Can the fly mask also be attached to a bridle?

Yes, the "Dubai" fly mask can easily be attached to a bridle as well. Thanks to its adaptable fastening options, it can be attached to both a halter and a bridle, offering additional flexibility.

Why does the fly mask have a faux fur trim over the eyes?

The soft faux fur trim over the eyes prevents the fly mesh from sitting too close to your horse's eyes or pressing against them. This prevents irritation and ensures your horse feels completely comfortable and protected.

Is the "Dubai" fly mask breathable?

Yes, the fly mask is made from a breathable material that allows for excellent ventilation. This keeps your horse comfortably cool even on hot days, without moisture or heat buildup. This helps to prevent uncomfortable sweating and overheating.

What is the purpose of the elastic insert on the nose?

The elastic band in the nose area ensures that the fly mask adapts perfectly to the shape of your horse's head. This insert prevents flies from getting inside the fly mask and simultaneously ensures a comfortable and secure fit.

Can I wash the fly mask?

Yes, the "Dubai" fly mask is machine washable at 30 degrees. This makes care easy and helps to regularly remove dirt and dust from the fly mask to avoid skin irritation or chafing. The quality is maintained even after several washes.

• Use only for the intended purpose as insect protection on the horse's head.
• Check for damage, loose seams, tears, or worn-out material before each use.
• If damaged or heavily worn, the fly mask must no longer be used.
• Check the fit regularly to avoid pressure points or chafing.
• Do not fasten too tightly – sufficient freedom of movement must be ensured around the eyes, ears, and nostrils.
• Do not leave on the horse unattended, especially in the stable or in the pasture, if there is a risk of snagging.
• Do not make unauthorized modifications or repairs to the product.
• Do not use in rain, wet conditions, or high humidity if the material is not suitable for such conditions.
• Clean only according to the care label – do not use chemical cleaning agents, bleach, or solvents.
• Allow to dry completely after cleaning before reusing or storing the fly mask.
