The 50g turnout rug is ideal for the transition period and mild winter days, while the 150g under-rug provides additional warmth for cooler days. The set is suitable for temperatures from approx. +10 °C to 0 °C, depending on the horse's coat, clipping, housing, and constitution.
How easy to care for are the blankets in the set?
The turnout rug is easy to care for and can be machine washed at 30 degrees, although the waterproofing may weaken over time. The under-rug is also machine washable and easy to clean.
How waterproof and breathable is the set?
The turnout rug has an ISO-certified hydrostatic head of 5,000 mm and keeps the horse dry even in heavy rain. The set offers breathability of 3,000 g/m², which reliably allows moisture and excess heat to escape, ensuring your horse stays at a comfortable temperature.
Can the set be extended with a neck cover and is this included in the delivery?
The set can be complemented with a separately available neck cover, which protects the neck area in cold, wet weather. The neck cover is not included in the scope of delivery and must be purchased separately.
Security Information
- Use only for the intended purpose on the horse. Use the under-rug exclusively in combination with a suitable outdoor or stable rug.
- Before each use, check all components for damage and wear, in particular seams, straps, eyelets, buckles, snap hooks, and other fasteners.
- Do not continue to use damaged or heavily worn rugs. Replace defective or deformed fastening components immediately.
- Ensure the correct size and fit. A poorly fitting rug can lead to pressure marks, chafing, or injuries.
- Adjust straps and fasteners correctly and close them securely. Straps that are too long, loose, or incorrectly adjusted can pose a risk of injury or snagging.
- Regularly check the fit and secure positioning of the rugs, especially after the horse has moved or after extended periods of wear.
- Regularly check the horse for pressure marks, chafing, skin irritation, and signs of overheating.
- Adapt the rug combination used to the weather, temperature, housing conditions, coat condition, and the individual warmth requirements of the horse, in particular to prevent overheating.
- Do not use on open wounds, skin injuries, or severely irritated areas of skin.
- Do not use for other purposes, in particular not as a travel rug, unless the product is expressly intended for this.
- Do not make any modifications to the product that could impair the fit, stability, or safe function.
- Clean only according to the care label. Do not use bleach, solvents, or unsuitable chemical cleaning agents.
- Allow to dry completely after cleaning before the rugs are reused or stored.
- Store in a dry place away from open flames, strong heat sources, and hazardous chemical substances.

- 50g fill – pleasantly warm through the cool seasons: The light 50g fill offers comfortable thermal protection on cool days without overheating. Ideal for changeable weather, the transitional seasons, and mild winter days.
- 5,000 mm water column - reliable protection even in sustained rain: The water column indicates the water pressure the material can withstand before moisture penetrates. In tests, 5,000 mm corresponds to the pressure of a five-meter-high column of water. This gives the material high protection against heavy and prolonged rain and keeps your horse reliably dry.
- With attachment for neck cover – flexibly expandable for additional protection: A matching neck cover can be quickly attached via the clip system and additionally protects the sensitive neck area from rain, wind, and cold.
