In the dark or in poor visibility, drivers and other road users may only spot a horse and its rider very late, especially if there is insufficient lighting or lack of reflectors. How does the EasyOn system work?

The EasyOn system allows you to control the lighting conveniently from the saddle. The switch is located directly behind the saddle, so you can activate the lights at any time without having to dismount or stop.

Is the exercise sheet waterproof?

Yes, the exercise sheet has a water column of 5,000 mm, which makes it ISO-certified and highly waterproof. It reliably protects your horse from heavy rain.

What does "1200D Ripstop" mean and why is it important?

1200D refers to the strength and weave of the exercise sheet. It stands for the material density of the fabric, where "D" stands for denier, a unit of measurement for the thickness of the fibers. Ripstop describes a special weaving technique in which reinforced fibers are woven in a grid pattern. This structure prevents small tears from spreading further, so the exercise sheet remains more durable and resistant to damage. These properties are particularly important to ensure that the exercise sheet lasts a long time and is not easily damaged, even under heavy use, such as in pasture turnout or with horses that move a lot.

Is a water column of 5,000 mm sufficient for persistent rain?

Yes, a water column of 5,000 mm is absolutely sufficient for persistent rain. A water column indicates how much water pressure per square meter the fabric can withstand before moisture penetrates. With 5,000 mm, the winter exercise sheet reliably protects against heavy and long-lasting rain. In practice, this means that the sheet remains water-repellent even in intense rain and keeps the horse dry.

How is breathability ensured?

The breathability of our horse rugs is ensured by the Ripstop fabric used, which has an air permeability of 3,000 g/m². This allows moisture and heat to escape from the horse while simultaneously keeping moisture out. This is why it is important that rain sheets do not have a water column exceeding 5,000 mm. A higher water column would impair breathability, causing the horse to sweat quickly under the exercise sheet.

What does 3000 g/m² breathability mean?

This specification describes how well moisture (e.g., sweat) is transported through the material to the outside to ensure a comfortable climate for the horse. In this case, 3,000 grams of water vapor per square meter of material can escape within one day. This keeps the horse dry and prevents overheating or moisture buildup.

What does ISO certified mean?

ISO certification for a horse rug means that the product complies with specific international standards set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This certification ensures that the horse rugs have been tested in various areas such as quality, safety, and environmental compatibility. Can moisture or heat build up under the exercise sheet?

Thanks to the high breathability of our horse rugs and the Ripstop fabric technology used, no moisture or heat can build up under the waterproof exercise sheet. The sheet allows for effective ventilation so that excess heat and moisture are released, while rain and wetness are kept out. This keeps your horse dry and comfortable without unpleasant heat buildup under the exercise sheet.
