It offers excellent protection against external influences such as rain, wind, and dirt, while remaining durable and easy to care for. Even with intensive use, the material stands up to the task and ensures your horse is reliably protected.
• 250g filling – balanced warmth for cold days: This filling was specifically developed for cold winter conditions where reliable warmth is crucial. It effectively retains body heat and protects the horse from cooling down. Due to the balanced insulation performance, the 250g filling is ideal for frosty days and cold nights, especially in windy and wet conditions. It provides clipped horses with the necessary warmth in winter while helping older, sensitive, or cold-sensitive horses maintain a constant body temperature. In combination with the breathable outer layer, it creates a comfortable, dry wearing experience – even with changing temperatures and movement.
• 3,000 mm water column – protection against wet conditions, perfect for changeable weather: With a water column of 3,000 mm, the SUNRIDE winter blanket reliably protects against rain while maintaining its breathability. Thanks to the winter blanket, your horse is optimally protected even in changeable weather or sudden rain showers. The seams along the spine are welded and taped to prevent water from penetrating. However, under extreme conditions or prolonged rain, it may happen that some water penetrates at these points. Therefore, we classify it as water-resistant and not waterproof.

They can be attached to the horse blanket in an instant using a simple clip system. This makes the 150g under rug particularly suitable for the transitional period, cooler winter days, or as an additional layer of warmth under a top blanket.
• Coat-friendly - less friction with every movement: The smooth interior glides pleasantly over the coat and reduces friction at typical contact points such as the shoulder and chest. This significantly reduces ruffled hair, chafing, and hair breakage.
• Machine washable - uncomplicated cleaning for everyday stable life: After regular use, the under rug can be conveniently cleaned in the washing machine. Dust, hair, and dirt are thoroughly washed out, so it is ready for the next use in well-maintained condition.

Especially in rapidly changing weather, the system is a flexible companion. You can combine a maximum of two under rugs with one top blanket.
