What distinguishes the Hook&Hold system from other fastening systems?

The Hook&Hold system connects SUNRIDE top rugs and under-rugs quickly and securely. The loop and velcro fastener at the front and the clip system at the back ensure that both rugs remain reliably in place, even when moving. It is specially designed for SUNRIDE rugs and is not compatible with other manufacturers.

What temperatures is the 50g turnout rug and 300g under-rug set suitable for?

The 50g turnout rug is ideal for the transition period and mild winter days at temperatures from approx. +8 °C to –2 °C, while the 300g under-rug is suitable for cold winter days from about +5 °C down to sub-zero temperatures. This allows you to flexibly adjust the level of warmth to changing temperatures.

How easy is it to care for the rugs in the set?

Both rugs are easy to care for: The turnout rug can be machine washed at 30 degrees, although the waterproofing may fade over time. The 300g under-rug is also machine washable and retains its shape and function even after frequent washing.

Can I use the neck cover with the set?

Yes, the turnout rug features attachment rings for an optional neck cover, which must be purchased separately. It can be quickly attached using the clip system and offers additional protection for the neck area in wet and cold weather.

How does the set ensure my horse's well-being in changeable weather?

The set combines a waterproof and breathable turnout rug with a warming, temperature-balancing, and moisture-regulating under-rug. This keeps your horse dry, warm, and comfortable without overheating or sweating.

• Use only for the intended purpose on the horse. Use the under-blanket exclusively in combination with a suitable outdoor or stable rug.
• Before each use, check all components for damage and wear, in particular seams, straps, eyelets, buckles, carabiners, and other fasteners.

• Check the fit and secure position of the rugs regularly, especially after the horse has moved or if the rug has been worn for a long time.
• Check the horse regularly for pressure marks, chafing, skin irritation, and signs of overheating.
• Adjust the rug combination used to the weather, temperature, keeping conditions, coat condition, and the horse's individual warmth requirements, in particular to avoid overheating.
• Do not use on open wounds, skin injuries, or highly irritated skin areas.
• Do not use for other purposes, in particular not as a transport rug, unless the product is expressly intended for this purpose.
• Do not make any modifications to the product that could impair the fit, stability, or safe function.
• Clean only according to the care label. Do not use bleach, solvents, or unsuitable chemical cleaning agents.
• Allow to dry completely after cleaning before the rugs are used again or stored.
• Store in a dry place away from open flames, strong heat sources, and dangerous chemical substances.
